Junior ProgramsFWC wants to expand its educational outreach and needs volunteers to implement a new program to help educate and inspire youths in the community to care about Florida wildlife. Please contact FWC's Volunteer Coordinator to offer suggestions or support. NewsletterOur Quarterly Newsletter "Making Tracks" is an excellent way to keep in touch with what's going on at the Florida Wildlife Center. Regulary members are mailed the newsletter as a featured benefit. Outreach ProgramsFWC benefits from community recognition and support. In order to let people know who we are and what we do, each year, FWC participates in a variety of community outreach events such as;
FWC wants to expand its educational outreach and needs volunteers to design new programs, establish community venues, and oversee public activites. This is a great job for people with backgrounds in public relations and education. Please contact FWC's Volunteer Coordinator if you would like to sign up to help. SanctuaryA Wildlife Sanctuary is a permanent home for exotic animals that have been seized by government authorities, or voluntarily surrendered by their owners. Unlike zoos, they are closed to the public, putting the well-being of the animals first at all times. Animals are not bred, sold, or adopted out to private owners.
